One of the most prominent figures of the eighteenth-century Peruvian viceroyalty is Joseph Bravo de Lagunas, a jurist and outstanding official of the Bourbon administration. His work Voto Consultivo very known has led to important studies, his Dissertation on Historical Legal has not had the same luck. We consider that his analysis allows us to know assorted topics such as hospital system, health policies, as well as economic problems and the concepts of health and disease.
