Abstract

The analysis of what has been the process of configuration of the new right to be forgotten of which the citizen is entitled in the protection of their personal data both from the normative and jurisprudential point of view is addressed. This necessarily requires a review of the evolution of the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, with special emphasis on new regulations and judicial creations, that allows us a better compression of what is the true nature and scope of this right.
