Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text is 1.5 line spacing; the font size is 12 point; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures and tables are in the text where they belong or at the end of the text.
  • The text complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the Standards for Authors, which can be found in Guidelines for Authors.
  • The file sent is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word format
  • Is the subject of the article suitable for this magazine?
  • The file does not exceed 20MB
  • The paper has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the editor).
  • Web addresses have been added for references where possible.
  • If you are submitting to a section of the journal that is reviewed, you must ensure that the instructions in Ensuring a blind review have been followed.
